Despite its impact, accommodation has traditionally been overlooked in project planning
Our Story
Born from the frontline of large-scale projects
Accommodate Group was founded by people who have lived the problem. We've watched major infrastructure projects grind to a halt because nobody planned where the workforce would sleep. We've seen accommodation budgets triple overnight. We've seen communities displaced, local authorities overwhelmed, and project timelines collapse — all because accommodation was treated as someone else's problem.
We saw the same pattern repeat across energy, nuclear, data centres, renewables, and industrial construction. The project is planned meticulously at the top — engineering, procurement, logistics — but accommodation is pushed down the supply chain until it becomes a crisis at the bottom.
We started Accommodate Group to fix that.
Accommodation strategy: the missing discipline
Every major project has engineering management, procurement management, logistics management, and safety management. But nobody manages accommodation at programme level. It's the one piece of critical infrastructure that's left to chance.
Accommodate Group is building the discipline of accommodation strategy. We sit between clients, contractors, and workforce providers to coordinate the entire housing pipeline — from the first planning meeting to the last worker leaving site.
This isn't a service add-on. It's a category that the industry didn't know it needed — until the beds ran out.
Leadership
Adam Magee
Founder & Director
Adam founded Accommodate Group to solve a problem he witnessed repeatedly across major infrastructure and energy projects: accommodation and workforce logistics treated as an afterthought, creating delays, cost overruns and worker dissatisfaction.
With experience spanning housing strategy, project delivery and supply chain coordination, Adam recognized that upstream involvement and data-driven planning could prevent these failures. Accommodate exists to make that shift real, turning accommodation from a project risk into a solved problem.
Adam's vision combines feet on the ground and AI-powered intelligence along with strategic early engagement, and single-partner accountability to deliver accommodation solutions that protect project timelines, budgets and workforce stability on any project.
What Makes Us Different
Four strategic differentiators that transform accommodation from project risk to competitive advantage.
Upstream involvement
We join projects at bid and planning stages, not after accommodation becomes a crisis. This early engagement allows us to design strategies that prevent bottlenecks rather than react to them.
Single point of contact
One partner for accommodation, logistics, welfare and compliance. This eliminates coordination gaps between multiple suppliers and ensures accountability sits with a single team.
Data-driven strategy
Our AI-supported research process identifies housing capacity, market constraints and rate trends before mobilisation. This intelligence informs bid submissions and protects project budgets.
Worker-centric approach
We don't just count beds. We design accommodation and logistics that improve worker comfort, reduce turnover and protect retention. Happy workers deliver better projects.
Why We Exist
Accommodate Group exists to solve a single, recurring problem: what happens when large numbers of people arrive in an area that does not have the capacity to absorb them.
This can be driven by major infrastructure and construction projects, data centres, energy and industrial developments, shipyards and marine works, pharmaceutical and manufacturing expansions, or any situation involving large inflows of foreign or transient labour.
In every case, the risk is the same: local housing supply is overwhelmed, prices inflate, workers are displaced, and projects slow or fail.
